Ela is a trainee patent attorney in Cleveland Scott York’s materials and chemistry team working closely with Nick Bennett. She assists in preparing and filing patent applications and working on prosecution before the UK and European Patent Offices.
Ela joined the firm in 2023 after her master’s in Chemistry at Durham University, where she specialised in organic and biological chemistry. Her final year project involved the design and synthesis of multipodal molecular wires for use in molecular junctions.
Outside of the office, Ela is a keen baker and enjoys playing sports.
