A team of professionals from intellectual property law firm Cleveland Scott York have triumphed in the St Albans 5K Corporate Challenge for the second year running.

The team of Partner Tom Faulkner, Practice Director Nick Dougan, Senior Associate Nick Bennett and Associate Ben Charig completed the course on Sunday 10 June 2018, with the first three crossing the line in an aggregate time of just over 70 minutes.

Ben Charig was the fastest of the Cleveland Scott York runners, crossing the finish line in 19 minutes 39 seconds and in 11th place in the overall standings.

As the top firm in the Corporate Challenge 5K, Cleveland Scott York’s winnings of £250 will go to Guide Dogs for the Blind, the chosen charity of the firm’s Hertfordshire office for 2018.

Tom Faulkner said: “The 5K Corporate Challenge is becoming increasingly competitive as more firms enter each year, so we are delighted to have defended our title.

“This success is made all the more rewarding by the knowledge that we have been able to raise a good sum for an important cause in Guide Dogs for the Blind.”

In addition to its Hertfordshire office, Cleveland Scott York also has offices in the City of London, the Thames Valley and Brussels.
