Ashik is a European Patent Attorney in Cleveland Scott York’s mechanical and electrical practice. He works closely with Nick Bennett and Tom Faulkner, helping to prepare and file patent applications, and prosecution before the UK Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office.
Ashik has experience working with small start-ups to large multinationals across the entire patent lifecycle. He has a background in physics which means he is well suited to dealing with a range of technologies, including aerospace, autonomous vehicles, augmented reality, and renewable energies.
He has conducted due diligence for clients, has a working knowledge of trademark and design applications and has been involved in patent litigation.
Prior to joining Cleveland Scott York, Ashik worked in patent attorney practices and as part of the patent team of a law firm.
